November BSRI Thrift Stores NEWS:

The changing of the clocks and the beginning of the Holiday Season is a great time to reflect on the many things that we are "Thankful" for. BSRI Thrift Stores in Shallotte and Calabash are very "Thankful" for our generous donors who provide us with amazing amounts of high quality, unique and often times fascinating items that make up our extensive inventory. WE APPRECIATE YOUR GENEROSITY!!!

We are also "Thankful" for our Loyal Customers as well as our New Customers who shop with us and regularly support our Mission, WHICH IS TO PROMOTE THE WELL-BEING AND ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ALL SENIOR ADULTS OF BRUNSWICK COUNTY.  We appreciate your business!!!

We couldn't run our stores without our WONDERFUL EMPLOYEES and AMAZING VOLUNTEERS, all of whom we are most "Thankful" for. They do a great job processing donations behind the scenes and making our stores look great! WE APPRECIATE THE CARE AND HARD WORK THAT MAKE OUR STORES GREAT PLACES TO THRIFT SHOP!!!

We are also "Thankful" that we are able to help everyone Save lots of Money on everything from Clothing, Home Decor and Furniture to Housewares, Linens and of course Holiday and Christmas items.

So, Shop Smart, and Save while Giving Back to our Senior Community with your purchases which help support "Meals on Wheels" and 6 "Active Living Centers" in Brunswick County along with a number of programs that Make a Difference in the lives of our local Seniors everyday.

To add a little fun to start off your Holiday Thrift Shopping Season, we are raffling off a beautiful 2 sided Christmas Tree Skirt at each store. The hand-quilted tree skirts were made and donated by our very own long-time Calabash Store employee, Michelle Stewart. We are very "Thankful" for Michelle, her amazing talent, and her very generous donation!

Raffle tickets are $1.00 each and the drawing will be held at the end of the day on Monday, December 1st. You can see a picture of the beautiful tree skirt being raffled off at the Calabash store below.

Every Thursday is Thrift Trivia Thursday! Answer the trivia question of the week AND IDENTIFY OUR MANAGER'S ONLINE SPECIAL OF THE WEEK  and you will save 20% Off all regularly priced items.

We also accept drop-off donations at either store from 10am to 4:30pm Monday through Saturday. Just pull around to the back of the store and ring the bell so one of our staff members can assist you.
