Pumpkins, Oranges, FaLL Fashion Show & SPooky savings!

"Please Get Cooler.  I want to go shopping at the BSRI Thrift Stores in Calabash & Shallotte and buy colorful, cozy sweaters, slacks, long sleeve tops, stylish Autumn Hats and so much more.  Also, let me start shopping for Halloween and Fall Decorations  and let me get even a bigger head start on Christmas Decorations."  -One of our staff members may have overheard this from one of our customers recently.  

Coincidentally,  all of these items our available now at both of our stores and so much more like our awesome collection of Jewelry, Comfortable Shoes and Boots and are ever evolving furniture and furnishings and books and toys and stylish handbags. 

We think most of you and us are ready for color weather, interesting warm colors and hues and relaxing days shopping for cozy and comfortable autumn items.  So come on in to either one of our stores. Also our online website shop has been upgraded and has an expanding selection that you can shop and buy from the comfort of your home or from the convenience of your cell phone.

The doors are open—step inside or linger online,
find treasures carved from generosity,
and know each purchase lifts a hand,
each donation sets a table for a neighbor.

October here is not only thrift,
it is a circle of giving—
a place where style meets kindness,
and the heart of a county beats strong.

Fall Changed-Over - we changed out our summer fashion and decor and our now fully embracing Autumn colors and cozy and warmer clothing and decor.  We hope there is plenty for you to choose from.  We also have many of our fall and Halloween decor out for display and to sell.  We are even starting to put more and more of our Christmas Items out.  We have been so blessed with so many wonderful Christmas donations throughout every month of this year and we are ready to have them available for you to look over and choose which ones for you to buy.

Please come look at and shop at our revamped Books/CDs/Arts and Craft/Media section in the Calabash store.  We are busy every day restocking it.  

We have also continued to receive really good furniture donations lately, please check out both stores and many of these items have also been put on our online store.  

---Special Announcement--  

We had such a wonderful fun time during our Spring Fashion Show (That was modeled by our staff) and we had an awesome turnout without even much advertising beforehand and we raised a generous amount towards our Mission of Helping the Local Seniors that we are scheduling our first Fall/Halloween Fashion Show on Thursday,  OCTOBER 23rd starting at 2pm!  Free Admission, Donations our Welcome and the Modeled Clothing, Shoes, Accessories and Halloween Costumes will be available to buy after the show! We will have raffle tickets for sale that you can buy for a chance to win a BSRI Thrift Store Gift Card and other prizes.

Thursdays! Thrift Trivia Thursday! If you can answer the trivia question of the week AND IDENTIFY OUR MANAGER'S ONLINE SPECIAL OF THE WEEK, you will save 20% on all regularly priced items.
